About Aurora
Aurora is a student engineering and technology club based at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur campus. Membership is open to UCSI KL students from every faculty, and it lasts for life.
How we work
Every Aurora event starts as an idea from the Program Team and moves through a review by the Program Team leadership. Once accepted, the four departments each receive their own work. An event only becomes public after all four departments have completed their part and the executive team approves the launch — there is no shortcut around that rule.
Program Team
Turns ideas into full event proposals and coordinates delivery across the club.
Logistics
Handles venues, materials, equipment bookings, setup, teardown and inventory.
Publicity
Owns posters, public event information, captions, gallery and marketing.
Secretary
Handles speakers, university approvals, records, registrations, payments and attendance.
Membership
Membership is for current UCSI Kuala Lumpur students and stays valid after graduation. Members get a private portfolio that records the skills earned at Aurora events, can apply to join a department, and can borrow equipment for personal projects.
